Asked a while back how to use and where to get metal sheets for laminates,
Got loads of replys - from using shims, coke cans, and silver foil,
Well I used the base of a biscuit tin here on these test pieces,
The glue stayed firm, had no movement, and was easy enough to cut.
You can just see the sheets either side of the pine.
So thansk for all the advice, i'll look now at maybe adding multiple slices on new work, and hopefully get to a celtic knot with the metal banding.
