Finial box , critique welcome

Wow - that's a long, very slender finial you have there - some skill needed to make one like that. An excellent piece and I can admire the form and the technical skill required even if I'm not a big fan of finial boxes (afriad I'd break the finial off if I touch them!) I really like the carved edge of the rim of the box base.
