Axminster Hand Tools Event

We would very much like to invite you to our FREE hand tools event, Talking Tools, which is taking place here in the Guildhall, Axminster on Friday 25th (10am-4pm) and Saturday 26th March (10am-3pm).

The event will have a real international feel to it and feature some of the world's finest hand tools from England, USA, Canada, Sweden and Japan.

There will be demonstrations from well-known hand tool specialists -

I tried moving the mountain to get there, but can't make it. A lot of hand tool goodness and expertise concentrated in one place, and for free? A no brainer, if you can make it. Too bad about the noise makers like Bosch and Festoy, but you can't have everything...

The problem for me is that the annual Yandles outing follows on very shorty in April. Were I even to merely suggest to SWIMBO that the Ax HT event might be 'worth going to' :-" and then mention in the same breath that I'll be going to Yandles bun fight the following weekend(?) the chances of me surviving the encounter are slim to remote
If it's anything like the Rycotewood event last year, it will be worth going to, especially if you're a newcomer to the cordless side, but I'll probably pass and go to Yandles instead, which for me is a better show...and it's also free! - Rob

I think I may take the risk and see if I can get away with going to both!! Probably on the Friday as Saturdays are spoken for.

Rob, there is a weekend in between the 2 events, surely time enough during that weekend to amass sufficient brownie points to attend both outings 8-[

Terry's (designer) next design is in pre-production right now... we'll be taking it (and some other "stuff") to the "Talking Tools" shown in the UK in a couple of weeks....
