Having tried to measure it myself (surprisingly difficult), I thought it was more like 3/8". I think 1/2" might be too big a radius :?:

I don't think that link is that clear. Are those bits 1/2" diameter which would be a more usual way of quoting the dimentions, or 1/2" radius as you are suggesting? Using any bit smaller than the actual radius will still work with their template as it follows the curve (eg if they are 1/4" diameter). I however need to make my own template so need the exact radius.

Still not convinced but do appreciate your suggestion and I had not seen that part of their website, cheers

I thought many American plates were generally designed for using a 3/4 bit to route the hole. This would be an equivalent of a 3/8 radius - which I believe is what your guesstimate was.
