New member in the North East

Hello,

I've joined to try to progress my wood working; I've made a few very basic things from softwood and I'm just starting a basic Oak table top. I'll see if I can work out photos at some point!

I've renovated much of our old house myself and I've done some very basic wood-work, but want to up my game to make furniture. For tools I'm starting with my first decent purchase, a Bosch plunge saw, and I've got some cheap hand-me-down hand tools that will be replaced when I need better because my well used 180mm Evolution Mitre and circular saws are pretty terrible for wood work!

Good to know I'm not alone up here! I'm making plans and researching for now, as I can't start anything until spring, so hopefully I'll make some progress from February!
