Or you can put an ENORMOUS hook on.

Much quicker than stripping or sandpapering.

I have given my Stanley no.80 a fair bit of use on some of the iroko lengths I have,
I suitably crayoned WFH on a few of these ...
These pieces managed to blunt a razor sharp iron off the bat ...in the places I could plane ...
Most of these pieces transitioned from long to end grain on the faces of some of these boards/planks.
I used the Stanley no.80 for these bits and sharpened frequently.
It just takes me an age to do .

I need a more aggressive stone, or at least compare my washita to another stone of some type...
Maybe I should try another stone first, instead of pestering you guys constantly
The stone keeps getting knocked down wish the list though #-o
Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy,
Will try another stone before I ask more sharpening threads again...Promise :D
