hi there
started up the bandsaw today and noticed the blade on the lower wheel was not in the centre of the tyre like it normally is .. i know it does not HAVE to be in the centre but it is sitting well to far forward
i know it is not the tention or anything else affecting it
have only had the bandsaw a month so not got a great deal of knowledge how to correct it

do you have to alter the hex screws that hold the Lower wheel shaft ?
and if so what is the best method as the shaft feels as tho it does not move a great deal :s

hope that all made sense
many thanks for your time

Be careful if you alter those bolts, they are factory set.
You can alter the tracking on that wheel by adjusting the N/S pair. But do not alter the E/W pair or your blade will simply be shrugged off. Having said that, you may have to slacken them off to get any change in the N/S pair, but if you do, count your turns and put them back exactly as they were before.
If you want the best treatise on the subject, I'm offering free delivery this weekend :)
Steve
