Bench mounted, preferably one of the Clarke Strong Arm ones in good condition. It needs to be in fairly easy striking distance of South Wales.
Thanks, Chris
if u have a pillar drill they are so easy n cheap to make......esp a bench mounted one....
u really dont need a welder........apart from the jack which is about £30 from ebay, new....all the metal could come from a scrap yard for just a few quid...
mine's a bit special, as I need to get a 6 cylinder tractor engine on it so that I can press out seized pistons and liners.....
the head moves and has a 25ton Tangye industrial hyd jack.....
this should give u a few ideas.....apart from the winch everything uses 20mm bolts but u'll only need 16mm........
I used 4 car bonnet springs to return the pump ram....
Ps that king pin took a full 25 tons and heat to shift it.....lol.......
