    Planer to jointer

    Can't afford a jointer so am thinking of converting my planer into a small one. I know I will only be able to straighten wod under two inches wide but thats all I need for plank edges ect. Anyone ever made one of these?

    Sanding out tooling marks

    Broken return spring on piller drill

    I have a broken return spring on my cheapo Clarke's pillar drill and as it is a very old model can't find a replacement, there is nothing wrong with it apart from the spring at the moment I am using a bungee cord on the handle, wonder if there is a better way?
