    What about Australian Oak,it varies so much from cut to cut or tree to tree,it can look like any of the aforementioned timbers.Just a thought.

    Any other members find it strange that the Royal Mint do not know exactly how many undated 20 pence pieces they issued.Surely the presses loaded with the wrong dies must be fitted with counters.Happy New Year

    Could some kind soul please tell me what is the purpose of the spur on the back of some handsaws.I have been told several reasons over the years, none very plausible.A sensible practical answer would be most welcome. Cheers for any replies :)
