Morning.
I have a Wild Cherry tree in the hedge of my garden.
The leader is dying at about 20 feet up, and two limbs do not produce leaf, so I intend to fell it.
As it is a large tree, circumference of 67" at 5 feet off the ground, and approximately 40 feet tall, can you advise on its value and or usage for furniture or other uses?
Any recommendations for sawmills locally would help as well.
Location is between Bristol and Gloucester.

Thank you.
Jack

Have a word with @Rob D of your parish. He just loves an excuse to get his milling chainsaw out.

Thanks for the recommendation Brian, as you say always happy to get involved in milling up timber.
I have messaged Jack so we’ll see what happens.
