Well, Woodrat sell cosmetically blemished ones at a reduced price. I am told that they simply have marks in the anodising in the aluminium extrusion.

Who cares if there are marks as long as it is functionally perfect? Certainly not me, I am buying a tool not a decoration!!

The bottom line

£475 for a pristine Rat, or £427 for a cosmetically blemished one.

Wonder which one I bought? :-k

I got one too. If they hadn't told me I certainly wouldn't know the difference.
