Well, Woodrat sell cosmetically blemished ones at a reduced price. I am told that they simply have marks in the anodising in the aluminium extrusion.
Who cares if there are marks as long as it is functionally perfect? Certainly not me, I am buying a tool not a decoration!!

£475 for a pristine Rat, or £427 for a cosmetically blemished one.
