...by using Maestri brads. Seriously!
There was a recent thread about electric nail guns where most people - myself included - had a pretty low opinion of Tacwise. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the other day I loaded up my much-loathed Tacwise 191EL with some brads from my Maestri and WOW, what a transformation! Nails punched perfectly flush with the surface, no random mis-fires, ’blanks’ or bizarre double-shots. Ditto with staples too. Now, I'm not going to go crazy and actually recommend anyone buys an electric Tacwise, but if like me, you have one knocking around that has generally underwhelmed you with it's performance, picking up some decent consumables may well be all you need to turn it into a usable tool.
The staples and brads I used were for a Maestri ME606 - I get them direct from spotnails.
