I suffer profound hearing loss in both ears, so the TV has subtitles on all the time, watching breakfast news a reporter was at Aintree interviewing a jockey who is riding in the national, the jockey said, (subtitles) ".......I've got to write 243 so....."

Can anyone guess what he actually said? I know what he said only because SWMBO was watching it at the time.

No prizes, it's just for a laugh.

I've got to ride (something or other!) What the stenographer could have heard that sounded like 243 I dunno! Maybe at 2.40?

The last I saw on TV, there are people who are typing in as the dialogue is broadcast, but I see some errors occasionally which remind me of my first attempts at Voice Recognition on my PC. I gave up in the end, because clearly the program could not decipher a mild Birmingham accent! And I was pineappled if I was going to talk like John Wayne! :D

Benchwayze very close, it was,"........I've got to ride two before three....."I don't know how they are produced but sometimes the subtitles are just gobbledygook.
