Sanding belts - common sizes?

I'm thinking of making a sanding/grinding belt machine doohickie.

I figured I'd ask what the most common belt sizes are first as then it will probably be easier to get replacements and maybe cheaper.

I was thinking something like 2" or 3" wide. I think the 72" long ones would be too much as space is limited so it won't be a large machine.

Any suggestions or comments?

The very common Asian bench sander re-badged and sold by many different suppliers takes 100 mm x 915 mm belts.

My machine takes 1220 x 150 belts but I often use it with 1220 x 50 by splitting the belts in three.

Thanks guys. Still deciding how I'm going to make it so still not sure on sizes. Though the 1220 size seems popular
