Apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

Can anybody please recommend me a good supplier of either beech or tulipwood in or close to the Bradford area of West Yorkshire. I would be wanting planed stock due to not having room for a planer thicknesser.
Thanks in advance.

You could try giving Crosskiln at Osset a ring to see if they have any in stock. Can't promise they will as I have only ever used them for oak but they seem pretty reasonable on the customer service front.

somebody mentioned dragon timber and plywood a while ago as having tulipwood. I dont know whether it is sawn or planed, or any more detail than that.

Thank you for the recommendations. I ended up going to Arnold Laver where I bought a length of tulipwood at £18 cu/ft + vat.

All I now need to do is find a local friendly joiners shop who will plane, square and thickness the stock for me. I have a feeling that it will be more of a task than finding a good deal on the timber. :?
