got to be nice looking , extremely strong

how can a website have to much information
i've searched using the search button , but it comes up 2778 matches
mostly your work benches that you have been building
haven't got time to go through them.

it will be built out of iroko or oak {teak to expensive }
links to sites with plans most welcome

Norm has a set of plans for a lovely Leuytens (spelling???) bench - plans available form Brimarc I should think.

I doesn't look like a project for the faint of heart though!

i'm sure there are different grades of teak
what gets imported here is just too expensive , irrelevant of which grade

mart
was just winding you about the norm thing , got a couple of his books somewhere
but i do wish that so many people wouldn't bow to him as some sort of god
his practices are dodgy to say the least , i'm sure hes a nice bloke
and hes a good tv presenter for the american/canadian viewers
but here in england, amputees are taken very seriously after the event

most of his workshop is now filled with delta gear and its all from sponsorship , haven't seen the programme in a long time ,so i'm not up to speed with who is and who isn't sponsoring the programme

hard hat on ready for the barrage and flying comments from the normites

I'm sure there are as many different species that get called teak as get called mahogany.

lol I have to agree about his method and especially the half hour adverts (sorry I meant shows) that he does.

I think it comes down to a serious lack of talent on British TV. The camera work and the way he explains things are very good in my opinion. Makes a nice change to see the work in progress rather than lots of arty shots and camera movement.

I've learned a lot from his shows. There was a time I would have run a mile if someone had suggested using mortice and tenons!!!

There is a solution to all this...

UKworkshop TV!!!!!

Let's start our own TV show  We could take over prime time TV.

And as for sponsorship, who can blame him. Somebody can sponsor my workshop any day. Fill it with brand new tools and I'll happily tell the world they're the best
