I have a couple of bought-in carcasses that are not square. Normally I would square them up by anchoring to a wall or adjacent unit (itself anchored to the wall) but these form an island unit and so I'm a bit stumped. The backs are glued in.

Any suggestions? The units are 1000mm pan drawers.

Depends how strongly the backs are glued in but you could put a long sash clamp across the diagonal and try and force it over.

Thanks Senior. I freed up the glue join using my Fein then reglued square as suggested. Pity they made them oversize  (that howl of anguish was from me late last night...)

I make all my carcases now as there always seems to be some problem when you buy in, it doesn't work out much cheaper but there are fewer problems.
