Hi

Can wood which has been treated with green End Grain Preservative then be oiled or stained? I suspect the preservative will dry a teal colour so how will the oil/stain take to it?

Thanks,
Mark

I think most preservatives state that any other finish can be applied once the preservative/timber has thoroughly dried, which can take up to a week. I think this is where the clear preservatives win when you want to add another finish.
