Hi
For kitchen cabinets we've always finished the shelves with Osmo Polyx. We've never had any call-backs or complaints but as we're set up for spraying and as I'm not convinced Osmo is really tough and or stain proof enough for cabinet shelves we're considering using Morrells translucent waterborne.
Basically we want as close to the oiled look as possible but with a lacquer finish toughness. We are not set up to use AC lacquers only waterborne. The problem is we're not too sure which product to use - the 362 or the 332 range.
According to Morrells website the 332 range will "enhance the timber’s natural beauty with a high degree of clarity". We were considering using the 332 range in conjunction with the 8004/341 'wood warming sealer' which again according to the Morrells website "enhances the timber’s natural warmth and grain definition, avoiding that ‘cloudy’, ‘cold’ look".
Has anyone else got any knowledge of this combination of lacquer and sealer??

I can find some info. on the 362 range but not the 332 which reading the Morrells literature seems more suited to our needs..

We want a look similar to Osmo satin sheen but are not too sure whether the 10% or 30% sheen will give the best match..

Any thoughts appreciated
Tim

Just pop in and ask them what's best for you. The branch we use will give us a litre of finish to test if we're unsure.
