James Krenov Update

HI Folks
I was saddened to read this on Jim Krenov's website. Seem like, at 86, his eyesight is failing him so he has stopped making his cabinets. Pictures of his final, unfinished cabinet are on the site.
The site also says he is now making some hand planes to keep himself busy and there is one for sale on Ebay-be interesting to see how much that one goes for!

Thats a real shame, but I feel its fairly impressive he's been able to make his stuff up to the age of 86, a great achievement in my view. If I can carry on doing woodstuff at anything like that age I will be mightily chuffed - Rob
