I'm just starting out in my woodworking journey. I really have no idea what I'm doing but look forward to learning.

I'm based in North Wales (if anyone knows any good woodworking courses).

I've just bought some tools: saw, wood plane, chisels, etc and can't wait to get started.

Now all I need is some wood.

Depending where you are you might like to join Carmel & Holywell Wood Club, they are very welcoming and have some talented and very knowledgeable people, more than willing to help you get started. The club is well kitted with lathes, saws etc also got very good carving section, again make lovely things, including welsh love spoons, and very lovely hand carved ornaments,
