Announcement from the cockpit as a flight arrived at Heathrow on Thursday:
"Passengers on the left of the aircraft may be interested to see the new A380 double-decker Airbus that arrived at Heathrow for the first time earlier today to see if it would fit.
"Those of you who fly through Heathrow regularly will also be familiar with one of the last Concordes, parked next to a taxiway beyond Terminal One.
"This is progress in aviation terms, apparently.
"Thank you for choosing British Airways, good evening"
I miss Concorde
