First bowl

Here is my first bowl,the one where the bowl gouge kept digging in
It made from 3 pieces of 1-1/4 oak glued together t ogive a deepish bowl.
Let me know what you think,however critical. :wink:

Nice shape,nice proportions - looks good,nice finish

Some idea of size/scale is always nice,though.

The bowl is 6-1/4" diam 4-1/2" high.I used 1-1/2" thickness not 1-1/4". :?
I used Briwax as a finish as it is all i had at the time.
