Hi ive been offered a festool df-500 it comes in systainer
The festool df-500 is in very good condition.


It comes boxed with:
user manual
dominos (all sealed)

he wants £600 for this is it worth this as I have no idea

Edit: - Andy - the machine is around £650 and the set of doms and cutters in a systainer is around £150. So £600 for a known machine isn't too bad.

Yep agreed. A quick eBay search for completed listings show just one domino sold recently for £495 plus carriage - no dominos included.

In case you don't know, the Domino had a slight change in August 2009 when the spring-loaded metal pins on the front fence were changed for plastic paddles that perform a similar function. I don't think it makes much difference either way (Ive only used the pins) but it could be a way to roughly judge the age of the machine.
