Morning all,
I'm looking for some M10 dowel screws for a Dining table i'm fixing up.
The table currently has these in each leg, but they are some odd imperial size and the threads are a bit damaged, so I thought it best to just replace them. They are just smaller than M10, so I'm hoping an M10 will be a good tight fit.

Something like this would be good, but maybe longer, and without the delivery charge would be great :)
M10 Dowel Screw

Thanks

Wow, thanks for that
Delivery charge is stil high, double the cost of the item seems high, although if they're not geared up for small orders then fair enough.

I just thought it is worth asking incase somebody knows of a place that has a lower delivery charge. Or even a "They sell those in Wickes"

Now I have two options, more welcome.

Thanks
J

Have you tried these places yet before asking the impossible here:-

If they are no good, you will have to phone them and ask, then maybe try to find a MK hardware shop and ask again. Often shops will know where to get stuff if they don't have it.

As to postage, if you can't find it locally then its no good bitching about it if you must have them then you pay to play.

regards
Alan

PS I did a Google for Milton Keynes dowel bolts to get up my list of initial contacts.

Don't these screws get used in staircase banister kits? A local shop might sell the kits with dowel screws available in ones or twos. Pricey but small quantities and no postage.
