Dewalt dw733 type 2

Hello,

The drive belt on my dw733 has shredded and I'm due to sell the machine so need a replacement. Is their a difference between type 1 & 2 when it comes to belts? Some people are selling belts that supposedly fit both and others are selling them for specific machines, not sure who to believe.

Any help woold be appreciated,

Just as I thought, cheers guys!

I also heard that bathing the belt in hot water 1st is recommended.
