I've just received an email update from Classic Hand Tools containing this.....

For those of you interested in Clifton Planes, you may like to know they will be featured in the How It's Made programme on the Discovery Channel on Friday 24 September at 8:30pm. The link will take you to the programe schedule, Thomas Flinn saws are being featured today (Thursday 23 September).

Disappointed with the saw part...but the Holland and Holland shotgun article was superb! That Turkish walnut was simply gorgeous!

Big fan of Digiguide - how I love to "hide" all the rubbish on TV.

Disappointed...very disappointed.

The whole programme is poorly made IMHO...dumbed down for today's public.

To be fair...they are trying to fit so much into one programme but I was more interested in making lockers than the Clifton bit...shame really as they are clearly made of "hand" processes which were not shown...like the handles...

Oh well...
