Clarke 17inch wood lathe

Hi everyone, I bought the above named lathe back in January, today I went back to machine mart to buy an adjustable chuck for the headstock but apparently they don't do one, has anyone on here got one of these lathes and if so have you managed to get a chuck that will fit,

If it's a standard thread you can buy a chuck anywhere. Standard threads these days are 3/4"x16tpi, 1"x8tpi or M33.
Assuming I found the right manual, this lathe is M33x3.5mm so there are plenty of options for chucks from Axminster, Record, Nova, Sorby etc.
