Advice please regarding whether or not you need to allow for expansion gaps for a garden gate. I am about to make a smart double-sided Garden gate out of Cedar. It will have a curved top and I plan the main body to be made out of tongue and grooved planks. My question is (as with a table build) do I need to allow for expansion gaps for the uprights, especially as plan to place the upright tongue and groove panels within a frame? Thanks for your thoughts.
