We were on the bus in London and went pass the Bomber Command memorial. We quickly got off, and all I can say if you have not been to see it you should. My Grandad Father was a Bomb Aimer in the Canadian Airforce during WW II on the Lancasters.

Very thought provoking. Here is a picture. The Airman are 8-10 ft tall

I cannot even begin to understand the hell and sacrifice these people went through to give us the life we have today.

They were a different breed.
 
If ever in that part of the world, the Runnymede Memorial to them is also worth a visit. Extremely moving.
