Just wondering if there would be any interest in setting up an informal 'wood exchange project' (no innuendo intended)
As in, I collect deadfall branches on occasion and mill them to the best of my ability on the bandsaw.
Depending on where we are geographically we'd all have different species that are more common to our areas
I was thinking small stock, like little carving blocks or turning blanks or peices that could be knobs / handles / inlay etc
I suppose it would work by posting here a picture of a bit of wood you'd like to swap out and seeing if anyone wants to exchange it for something - or you could go native gameshow and keep it a secret!
Any thoughts?
