I had made an entertainment unit for friend in "the style of Lombok" as this is what he likes. His swish flat is fitted out in a lot of this dark wood Lombok furniture and he wanted hidden shelves for his bedroom.

Started with some recycled wood which I sanded down just with 40 grit on the belt sander to get rid of most of the heavy stuff (I did not want it to be smooth or defect free as this adds to the effect after staining I was trying to acheive).

I like them brackets. Makes it all look very smart and modern, compared to the traditional method on my website.

Simon it is 25mm angle iron with the side and base being routed accordingly. They were such a good (tight) fit that I did not have to use the countersunk holes and wish I had not drilled them, but the site is 80 miles from my workshop and I did not want to do a couple of trips.

Well Done. I'd love to know what the customer paid for them? ;)
