accommodation in edinburgh ?? help please

ive just landed a 5/6 week job in edinburgh
refurbishing a pub on rose street
the accommodation will have to have parking for a medium sized van as there is no parking on site
first night in hotel will be monday 28/05/07
so i will be looking for a hotel / b+b within walking distance.
and not too expensive on the wallet { im not scottish , Honest :lol: }
your help , as always , appreciated

There are a load of B+B's on Pilrig Street that always seem to have workies vans parked out side. That would be about a ten to fifteen minute walk for you. Leith Links is another area with a few B+B's but would mean a (short) bus trip.
