Sister Anne from the local convent has always been keen on circuses.
The big top arrived and the Mother Superior reluctantly said Sister Anne could go to the matinee show.
An hour before the performance there was a heavy rain shower and a large muddy puddle formed at the entrance to the big top.
The circus staff were rallying round to help get people in.
The clown offered to piggy-back the sister over the puddle, this was gratefully accepted.
A by-stander was heard to say:
"That's vergin' on the ridiculous".

Two Nuns taking a bath in the dark.
Silence reigns as the devout pair diligently go about their ablutions...
Broken only by the sound of water lapping against the sides of the tub.
Eventually, Sister Sharon is heard to ask 'Where' s the candle?'
'Yes,' sighs Sister Tracy in reply. ' It does, doesn't it!'

Ok, ok, I know it's an old one, but sometimes we need to be reminded.
