Hi all, im looking for some advice with regards to my dust extractor in my shop.
I have the Axminster AT639E 5HP triple HEPA filter/Cartridge beast and its awesome. However ive always had sporadic issues with it blowing the fuses in the CU on start up.

Its rated at 16Amp

Heres the 3PH 240v CU

What should I be looking at getting to help solve this issue? Upgrading the fuses to 20Amp?

Would one of these soft starters between the DE and wall socket do the trick?

Thanks in advance

A soft start module may well solve the problem as the fuse blowing is almost certainly due to the start up load. However what type of fuse are you using? A time delay 16 amp fuse designed for motors should not trip on start up of a 5 hp motor. The fuse is to protect the cable to the socket there should be a starter/overload protection on the motor. I would start by checking the fuse type suitability for a motor.
