    The Miggy is Gasless ie just a wire feed. Iintend to weld 3mm wall thickness mild steel box section,the Ampeage is supposed to be from 60 to 90 amp I've been told this should be efficient enough for that thickness and up to 5mm.     whats them cutters like any good? was having a look half hour ago and there are two sets one for tiles and ceramics and one for wood and ferrousesmetal and plastics. The two abour looks like it is made of good metal but the blades need a test before I buy. :wink:

    I've got a big one.

    this motor is 1.5hp,fairly heavy,about five inch diameter,could be six? its a brushless moto...forgot the name for brushless motors? very very quiet :) Now I need to put it to use?

    Found a site here that sells Aluminium rail,this rail will make a good giude fence for your router table. Its dear but I want this table of mine to look like router table rather than a throw it together piece of junk,bearing in mind the touble I'm going through to have it top of the table...

    thats a bit naughty of toolstation

    No import duty

    Seems there's no tax or import duty on items sold on ebay from Hong Kong under a £100. Just got some bearings from HK,all seem fine. :-) Just thought I'd let anyone know if you have any doubt about importing,even had stuff from the states without incurring tax and import duties.

    Taping a thread in Ally

    Putting a thread tap in m bench press drill,setting it to the lowest speed it can go to and then tap a thread in Ally....will this work? I know we have to screw and unscrew the tap at intervals of tapping the thread normally but what do you think?

    two tube mix,how good is this bonding metal to MDF? Changed me mind on using kitchen worktop for my router table top and opted fof 25mm MDF.     Corner Chisel

    Them corner chisels work well,saves changing router bits to a smaller size after the initail recess in a square cutout. Sure you can use an ordinary chisel but these give a precise clean cut. http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Hand+To ... 150/p53349

    Ok,this was f*ing awsome and I'm hooked,Fecn if your still around? then it takes brains to work something like this out and the outcome of this has clearley shown that it works,a bit crude but never the less it can be tweaked here and there. Just wish I was around at the time this came up...
