Undermount sink jig - ideas please

Jason, thanks for the idea... unfortunately my CNC machine was in the boot of my Ferrari when it was nicked last week :D As for downloading dimensions, that still involves drawing and cutting with a jigsaw - I was hoping to avoid anything that involved making up a template from a drawing only...

Undermount sink jig - ideas please

Hi all, I've bought an undermount sink for a kitchen I'll be fitting next week - Franke ARX 160 if anyone wants all the details. The template it comes with for cutting is just a bit of flimsy card in the exact shape of the hole you need to cut out - not sturdy enough to guide a router, and even...

    Garden construction in Oak

Thanks for the replies guys and the photos Jason... the weathered look is expected and fine - I'm not expecting it to match the coffee table ;-) I've only really realised quite how much the garden slopes since looking at it in terms of how much account I have to make of it in the raised beds up...

"Engineered vs Solid" wooden flooring - plus which

Gary, I have used "engineered" wood floor in my current and previous houses for cost and simplicity reasons. In total I've done a lounge and 3 bedrooms in it and it's been fine. The only thing I would say is that you need to be careful about making sure the joints are scrupulously clean before...

    Garden construction in Oak

I'm looking to do a number of projects in my garden over the coming months - raised beds, decking and a climbing frame/slide/swing thing for my daughter. We want it all to look right together and like the look of "just wood" rather than stained/treated softwood, so I want to be able to make it...
