Off topic here but where is the best place to buy 75 type aluminum L shaped profile that doesn't cost a fortune?

Has anybody tried a trend t8 router yet? + trend t8 vs triton tra001

Hi, it's good to see some positive words said about the trend as this does seem like the perfect solution for me. The Triton just looks hurendous and horrible if I want to use handheld. The dewalt 625 obs have a good reputation as a solid router but I have to but a router Raizer and insert...

Obviously you have one so know but it looks as though to me it's just a long threaded knob to wind the router down and for fine adjustment and to reduce the plunge depth. How is it used from above a table?

Thanks, £90 for a few bits and pieces but a damn site cheaper than a router lift. What insert plate do you use? I assume any would work so long as has correct mounting holes for the chosen router and then you need to drill the hole for the height adjustment yourself?

Thanks Derek, by a raiser do you mean a dedicated lift for a plunge router such like jess em do or do you mean adapt it so it has a built in winder like the triton and trend?

Has anybody tried a trend t8 router yet? + trend t8 vs triton tra001

I liked the idea of a router with built in above table adjustment to save on buying a router lift as these cost the same again as a router for a decent one and the dewalt 625 doesn't have that unless it could be adapted in anyway. Also I still may want to remove from table and use as a handheld...

I've been looking at this router too to use with a table I like the fact I don't need to by a router lift but I want to know the dimensions so see whether it will fit under my table but can't find them anywhere. Any ideas?

    CamVac stopped working

Good evening all, I had my CamVac single motor running in the garage with a heater going as well. I was using the CamVac with a 63mm hose just doing general cleaning up and it just stopped. Nothing tripped the heater was still going so nothing overloaded but now the CamVac won't work anymore...

Best pipe size for CamVac and tablesaw

Also is there an adaptor to make it easy to reduce the 100mm to the 63mm for table saw connection and split off to the blade guard?

Best pipe size for CamVac and tablesaw

Thanks for this. I spoke to CamVac who told me that there 52 litres per second rating is based on a 100mm hose and reducing the hose size would obviously increase suction but reduce airflow so the best thing to do is use the 100mm hose and reduce at the machine. So although air flow rating is...

Best pipe size for CamVac and tablesaw

Thanks for this. Totally baffles me then why they put 100mm connections on the CamVac and other similar extractors. So if I was to introduce a cyclone into the system then one with 50mm connections with reducers and connecting the whole thing up in 35mm pipe would give best performance? It's...

Best pipe size for CamVac and tablesaw

Hi, I appreciate these sort of questions come up alot but I can't find a simple answer to what I'd like to know. I have a new type CamVac single motor extractor and want to connect to my dewalt dwe7485 jobsite table saw. The saw has a 63mm outlet I believe, and the CamVac has a 100mm outlet. I...
