    Deadman Foot Switches

Again, thanks everyone for your input. We are now talking about stuff I have no competence in, but I think I can interpret PUWER to mean “don’t touch”. So I won’t.

    Deadman Foot Switches

Thanks for the responses so far, it looks like a non-starter for this or other saws if I read it correctly. Thanks!

    Deadman Foot Switches

I am not so slowly getting sucked into buying a new scroll saw with the Lumberjack SS533V in poll position. It does not come with a foot switch, something that I find so useful. So does anyone have an idea about deadman foot switches that would work with this? I also would like suggestions of...

Scheppach Deco SL Scroll Saw after market blade clamp?

I have a Charnwood 16F and last year bought the EZ blade holder set from Frank Pozsgai pozsgaidesigns.com which should work on the Deco SL. He states that the system works on the Deco 405. Unfortunately he is based in US and does not do international deliveries but I was fortunate as I have a...

    Baltic Birch

I am wanting to order some baltic birch plywood for a project but I am not sure what the designation would be for this. Is this BB/BB that I have seen on one site or am I getting this wrong. Thanks for any assistance here! Eric

    Marquetry inlay

I used to enjoy doing marquetry 30+ years ago before life got in the way, and was looking at trying again in retirement but I can’t find any kits that inspire me. There are kits out there if you do a search on the internet or the usual places, but they all appear simplistic to what was around...

    Wood for scroll saw projects

Can anyone suggest a good UK source for buying the relatively small amounts of wood needed for projects please? I am currently just setting up and learning the basics of scrolling using pine offcuts from joinery but hopefully will start doing some more serious work soon. Thanks in advance.
