I need a laser level. Are the cheap ones trash? looked on screwfix but I don’t really know what features/add ons are useful. Need it for outdoor jobs as well as indoor so I need a green laser. Recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

The 111z has a laser. Never seen it for sale. Should be easy to add the laser to a 110z. Most add a shadow line though.

It’s a great mitre saw. Better than anything I’ve used before. Very compact for its cutting capacity. Soft start is nice and build quality is very high. Its not light (27kg) but feels solid compared ”plasticky” saws I’ve used in the past.

I had to put a box end spanner onto the Allen key for extra leverage and use more force than felt right. I honestly thought the Allen key was going to snap.

The bolt that holds the blade in place is an absolute nightmare to undo. A few people on YouTube have had the same issue.

Have Aldi stopped doing tools/diy equipment? Emails have been nothing but garden furniture and food for a while. I like their ladders, trolleys, workbenches etc. Really good value.
