    Gout 😥

Late to the party as per usual, one thing I have experience of is acute Gout. I had my last attack 14 years ago with a slight niggle in 2018 which lasted all of 24 hours, probably wasn't even gout to be honest. I had been suffering for decades, then 14 years ago I woke up with gout in me left...

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

Watched a few videos of people ripping with them, can't be any worse than my old saw. As they say, Faint heart never F***** a little Pig.

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

Yep, will get two ordered, one for crosscut, one for ripping.

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

Indeed, must remember to use for cross cut only, at least until I find a suitable 255mm blade, shame really as I wanted to bevel some 16"x4" Douglas for a project. Thank you all who helped. :)

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

No, so the 255mm would make sense as it would then be behind the fence completely and wouldn't foul the column on 45 bevel.

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

Guard go past column without fouling, just the blade that would hit it.

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

Blade, will pop out and check if the guard fouls.

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

Yes, and fully extended, needs to be about another 2" long.

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

Measured up, 300mm as you said, still confused as to why it would foul the main column, good job I didn't have it running when I found out.

    Dewalt 1751 Radial Arm Saw

I have just recently purchased a Dewalt 1751, after one or two teething problems I now have it set up 99.999% square and cutting well with one little problem. If I tilt the head to cut a bevel, when returning toward the park position the blade hits the main column, surely this can't be right...
