Lidl's quibble quibble 3 year tool guarantee

I would suggest that must have been within a very short time of purchase as things are not kept on the shelves very long at all.

    Toilet flushing system

I found I was having to replace the rubber washer on the flush valve regularly because of this. The new valve does not appear to have one of those.

Removing tiles attached to plasterboard - Shower room renovation

Thank you That’s encouraging. My son mentioned a track saw too. Will look them up. Currently I only have sliding mitre saw, reciprocator, jigsaw and of course handsaws but none of those are ideal. I’m in my 60s and also have some arthritis 😄

    Toilet flushing system

Thanks That’s what I thought. Was seeking advice for a better quality push button internal flushing system. The button itself is good. Just the cable mechanisms keep failing.

    Toilet flushing system

Thanks, the toilet is close coupled. I’m thinking I would have to completely replace it or replace the cistern to use a lever flush. Is this correct?

Removing tiles attached to plasterboard - Shower room renovation

That looks good. Was thinking of doing the whole room in something similar - just not sure how confident I would be sawing it or handling large sheets on my own.

Removing tiles attached to plasterboard - Shower room renovation

Thanks, Steve I’ve used speedfit piping before and have been happy with the result so will stick to that. Do you have a link for the UPVC sheeting? Have used UPVC cladding on the outside of the building and very happy with that so far but was not very impressed with the corner fittings I...
