Can anyone recommend a decent make of stepped drill bit?

Below are links to step drills the RS ones are now RS Pro which are good quality or the halls ones which I have used for 20 years the RS ones may even be halls badged RS as that’s what RS used to sell. If you don’t let them overheat and keep using a cutting oil they last well and produce a good...

Can anyone recommend a decent make of stepped drill bit?

RS components step drills are normally good quality you do not need a credit card. 4-12mm and then 10mm to 30mm think. It’s all about speed and cutting fluid don’t let the step cutter get to hot! We use for stainless steel no problem although we have hydraulic splitter punches if doing lots of...

    Damp proofing

Hi you should not Dot and Dab onto the walls as the dabs will suck any of the water and salts out of the walls! What does the company who did the injection recommend are they giving you a warranty? I am not a great believer in injection systems more on breathability. You need to be careful...

    What connector is this?

That’s exactly the same as my Karcher motor connection
  17. J

    What connector is this?

I do not believe it is a standard crimp connector it is a special designed for this application
  18. J

    What connector is this?

These connectors are very fiddly they are not a standard fork terminal size. They are made to lock in position bearing in mind they will be on a motor that vibrates. I guess they are meant to be used once only as one of mine broke when I pulled it out as well.
  19. J

    What connector is this?

Best bet as if you get a bad connection will not do the motor any good at all

    What connector is this?

I have just had exactly the same thing on my Karcher Vaccuum cleaner where the motor has burnt out! The connector did the same to me. This is a non standard connector crimped on a special crimping machine. Best thing to do is to see if you can buy a new cable as a spare with the connector...
