    The steam softens adhesive left on the wall but you need to get the vast majority of the tiles off first. If great lumps of plaster come off the walls with the tiles it doesn’t help at all. 😀

    As said previously be aware if chips and splinters. Also depending on the adhesive used you might be able to use a wallpaper steamer to help remove some of the lumps left after tile removal.

    I bought a set of these to practice with. I think they’re mild steel. They make lots of nice sparks when you sharpen them. Stick to the Sorby tools.

    Metal roof insulation to fix condensation

    I found my garage too hot in summer and too cold in winter. The OSB boards have done the job for me as I said. The garage roofing sits directly on the boards. Maybe I should have used a waterproof membrane but I didn’t and it’s been 20/ 25 years now and still fine.

    I have a concrete section garage with corrugated metal roof. Condensation would drip onto my car causing marks I couldn’t remove. I solved this by using OSB sheets from Wickes.     I use a moisture meters fir my wood turning it’s a Dr Meter MD812 which I find is very useful. I also buy firewood logs that have been dried. They should be below 20% moisture content I believe to confirm with pollution regulations. I would advise you get one. To be honest just go for a...
