Clarke BS1 Belt Sander - Roller Bearings in front roller - cannot find replacements???

If I phone Clarke Parts I get Machine Mart. Machine Mart and a bearings supplier have failed to find these for me, so far. I have got the black plastic replacement Front Roller from Machine Mart, but without the steel roller bearings. I am about to try China. Can anyone help me, please? Mike

Best budget All-Purpose Metallic Acrylic Gloss Paints for small wood crafts, etc ???

Are the Amazon budget sets in the photos down below "cheap 'n cheery" or "cheap 'n nasty?" We have a few very old 60 ml bottles of "Anita's" brand Metallic here and about 10+ years ago we used these on some little plywood bird shapes for a kind of mobile in our back yard, and the paint has held...

"Oily Glue" - first impressions and tests

The brand that arrived is "Jue-Fish Welding Superglue High Strength Oily Glue" from Amazon Prime, 30g in a 50ml (?) bottle, a useful amount, £1.99, with a separate push-on, long, fine nozzle as an option for tiny work. It handles differently from a low viscosity superglue, it has higher...

UK source for sanding belts 75 x 533, 180 grit for kitchen knife sharpening etc?

I am using my cheap Homebase Belt Sander, inverted and secured, for kitchen knife sharpening with an ordinary 75 x 533 mm 120 grit belt. It is fast and easy and the results are good enough for me. I am looking for a finer 75 x 133 mm belt (180 or 240 grit?) specifically for finer kitchen knife...

Replacement for thin, flexible, light grey, 3M W212 Production Paper, 180 grit?

I have used this sandpaper for decades, I have one piece left, 2" x 1", but it is dying. 3M says that their 255P range is similar, I shall try that, but has anyone actually tried any replacement for the 3M W212 light grey?

Anyone tried these 3-bladed hi-speed carving bits?

They are said to be for dremel-type tools or power drills. This site just sells a set of 3 from 3-5 mm, but I gather that there are individual bits up to 10 mm, but I have not yet found a supplier. Hence my question. Mike

Anyone tried these high speed 3-bladed rotary carving bits?

And if so, where can I buy them in UK or China - individually, not in "kits"? IT WON'T LET ME ENTER THE WEB LINK TO THE TOOLS I AM TALKING ABOUT - WHY, PLEASE? Mike
