I started to use a foot switch after reading about them on this and other forums. The type where as long as you press on it, the saw keeps going. Let go, and the saw stops. Worked fine for a few months, then one day, the saw wouldn't start. It turned out, because the saw wasn't being turned off...

Just a couple of my later boxes. Useful to keep your puzzles in. But of course, the boxes themselves are puzzles. The puzzle is just getting them open. Bruce

This is my version of the "Cryptex" puzzles... Maybe not as complicated as the cylinder types.... How many combinations of settings? 2187 times 2187 to the power of 4. Cannot be opened unless you have the solution. Bruce

Another puzzle box...Cubey 4. If you're very, very lucky, you could open this in just 6 moves... ..but it's more likey to take you up to 252 moves to open... Very hard to open, just as hard to make... Bruce

Is this a real Japanese puzzle box? Incredibly easy to make, and not too hard to open. Is it real? Who cares-it looks real! Bruce
