I think the brightness on both are the same 635nm. The only big difference i find is that the dewalt would cost me £30 more to buy over the makita version. tnx.

First time posting, I need some advice about an electric rebate planer. I want to make some drawers using rebate joints or rabbet joints if some people call them that. Can a rebate planer make cuts from 3mm in width to say 3/4"wide in one pass? So the drawers will have for example, 3mm slot...
