The Longevity of a Wooden Shed?

I inherited a shed from previous house owners. Part of it is sheltered by trees etc but this means that part of it is always in shade. As a result the areas that don't get much light/air have rotted away. I think regular painting would have prolonged its life, but I think having too much foliage...

Do you happen to know the U-value off the top of your head? Are they double or triple glazed? Thanks

Chest of Drawers for Electric Guitars

Yes - I had been looking at some of these on eBay etc, but often the drawers are too shallow. Do you think a lack of runners would be an issue? I guess if the drawers are just friction slide type, they'd fall out if you pulled them out too far.

Chest of Drawers for Electric Guitars

I had considered a cupboard design, but ideally I'd like individual drawers so they replace the protection provided by individual guitar cases in terms of moisture control and keeping dust away etc.

Chest of Drawers for Electric Guitars

Chest of Drawers for Electric Guitars

Hi everyone, I want to make a set of drawers to store up to 10 electric guitars. Each drawer would need to be approximately 100cm long x 50cm wide x 10cm deep. I'm planning on using fully extending drawer runners so the guitars can be easily accessed. I have very basic woodworking skills and...

    Which Router?

Very interesting. I was expecting to use a bandsaw to cut out the body and then the router and template to accurately finish the body in addition to pickup cavities etc. Would body shaping need/be easier with a router table?

    Which Router?

I guess my budget would be in the low 100s.

    Which Router?

Hi all, I'm in the market for a router, primarily for hobby use making electric guitar bodies and necks. Does anyone have any experience of this type of use (+ve or -ve) and could you shed some light on brands/features which you'd consider essential for this kind of work? Thanks in advance!
