    Certainly interesting,but I could see that remote getting lost among shavings and other clutter. Think I'm leaning more towards a foot control,especially when a hollowing tool is deep inside a form and I get scared trying to get it out without damaging rim :D Cheers, Mike ps,I'm getting one...

    Remote or foot control for Record CL4

    When hollowing or working on inside of bowls I find the on/off switch on headstock a bit of a pain to get to. So,I'd like either a remote control or a foot switch. I don't 'do' electrics,so it would need to be very simple to install or doable at reasonable cost by electrician. Any ideas ? Mike
